Spent some time there for work, testing on-vehicle pavement-noise measurement systems... We weren't allowed to say where it was or who owned it in our reports... Amazing place, especially the 7+mile oval, and the (very) winding road section! Can't believe they're suggesting using the site for a utility-scale solar power farm... _Dave_
My brother lives in California City, just a couple of miles from there.....wonder if he's seen any "interesting" new Honda's going in or out of there the last couple of years - cause he's never mentioned it.....
I've worked in Mojave, just down the road from the Honda test track, for four years now. There have been a bunch of covered-up Hondas that have rolled through town. The Hyundai test track is just to the east, and a lot of semi-secret Hyundais come through town as well.
I wonder how many pocket hole burning dollars it would take to own it? I'll bet in today's economy it can be bought for considerably less than it took to build and it equip it originally! Mike, my brother works at Edwards AFB, where are you?
