    Don't know if anyone started a topic on this but I did a search and came out empty so...
    I am pretty excited being I've been working on a nice place for the MINI to sleep. I've been working on the garage for quite some time and I just finished the floor (Race Deck) and wanted to share some photo's. They aren't the greatest as i took them with my phone but here you go.

    NEAT DESK, NEAT GARAGE=???

    That's disgusting! I've got a 2 1/4 car size garage and my MINI barely fits in by itself. Guess my terminal pack-rat syndrome just got overwhelmed by terminal envy.
    NICE JOB!!! :Thumbsup::Thumbsup::Thumbsup:

    PS: Need any parts for a '67 BMW 1600? They're in there someplace. :confused:

    Great job! BTW, is that a vinyl tape or maybe even a wallpaper border that you have running around the garage at about the 5 foot level in the checkerboard pattern? That really makes a difference.:Thumbsup:

    My house (& garage floor) is 40 years old so that's probably what I need to do. I just always seem to have something else in front of that project. Great design!

    Looks like a great space for a MINI to lounge around in:Thumbsup:

    I'm hoping to expand our 2 car carport by one more bay, lose a center post so there will be more space for detailing/working on the MINIs. Going to turn one of the bays into a covered patio.

    Very nice :Thumbsup:

    Mark, can you post a picture of your MINI garage, complete with football holder. Maybe you guys should sticky a new thread, show off your garage :D

    Oh ahh...how about a ShowCase type for Garages....

    We already have one for Wheels and Badges and I can now easily separate the the various types in the postbit header (where your name is above a post) to show different types as separate links.

    Nathan,

    I like it. I won't be posting my garage, but I still like to see how creative others have gotten. You being da-web master, maybe you could paste in a couple of the other pix already posted into the new thread.

    I'm thinking I could probably do a checkered border, waist-high along the walls. But of course my wife has a list of things for me to do a mile long, and until I make a dent it that list, racing stripes are not happening for me any time soon :popcorn:

    Nathan, This would be a great tool. I can't tell you how much research time I put in looking EVERYWHERE to get ideas and looking at others garages. To have this info together will save a lot of time. I can't thank the many people enough that I have bounced ideas off of or learned from photo's of their garages. From floor products to cabinet choices to toolboxes to paint choices and cool accessories....etc. Well you get the idea!
    Plus I'm not completely done yet and still am looking for a few more ideas!:devil:

    Agreed, I'd use such a tool. On projects like it seems that you can spend almost as much time on the research as actually executing the project. Taking a short cut in the research area can help significantly.
