The last few days the weather has finally started feeling autumny here in NJ. My MINI helped me recognize this fact by greeting me with the lil' snowflake 37 degree warning the past couple of mornings during my drive in to work. I'd been anticipating it but it still made me chuckle when it happened... love some of the unique little quirks that are part of the MINI experience.
First time I heard it (this is my first MINI) I crapped my pants thinking there was a problem with the MINI.
Yep, mine dinged at me last night. I had to make an emergency run to my plant to get a machine running again - it alway surprises me the first time it does that!
Back home in Manitoba, it was a sign of spring when it stopped dinging after 5 months:rolleyes5::lol: Mark
I would have heard every morning this week, but I chose not to drive until the sun came out and warmed things up a bit. I'm not ready for winter just yet. :nonod: Jim
I dont think I ever stop being surprised by the ding. It took me a full minute the other day to suss out what the *problem* was. :rolleyes5:
Ive seen that sad little light for many mornings so far this, and last month Bet theyll salt the bridges soon as snows in the forecast for tonight
I use to love it when all I had to do was look at it or go ski on it. Now that it means I have to shovel out a path from the barn to the pasture, dig out all the gates so they will open and break the ice out of the water buckets, I have a different view. Do they sell a front loader for the MINI? Jim
Jim, I am sure someone could fix you up on the loader, perhaps a take-off from that non-turbo engine. :arf: Don
Mine did the same thing. Yes, even here in California. I had to figure out what the chime was for but the snowflake kinda gave it away.
