AC Schnitzer announced today that they built the fastest Mini Cooper JCW, called the Eagle. They even released some lap times, set around the Hockenheim Circuit, for comparison. The AC Schnitzer Mini Cooper Eagle set its fastest lap time at 1:13.341 min, during this year's Tuner Grand Prix. The Ferrari California managed a 1:13,3 min, the BMW M3 set a time of 1:14,3 min and the Porsche 911 Turbo was timed with 1:14,6 min (the full list is available lower down this page). The AC Schnitzer Mini Cooper Eagle is powered by the same engine as the John Cooper Works, but it has received several modifications and now develops 191 kW / 260 hp at 5,000 rpm and 340 Nm of torque at 2,950 rpm. AC Schnitzer's official specifications say that the Mini Cooper Eagle is able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 5.8 seconds and that it has a top speed of 250 km/h. The extra horsepowers of AC Schnitzer's Mini Eagle come from a new ECU, modified turbo and intercooler, and a stainless steel exhaust system with a racing catalyst. AC Schnitzer also fitted their Mini Eagle with a sport clutch, a limited slip differential, a lightweight ion battery, a racing suspension and anti-roll bars. The aerodynamics package of the AC Schnitzer Mini Cooper Eagle includes a new bonnet, boot lid, a rear diffuser, new wings, new doors, and a rear spoiler all made from carbon fiber. The package includes various other exterior and interior parts, all made from carbon in order to reduce the weight of the car. AC Schnitzer built the Mini Cooper Eagle as a technology platform and they say it's priced at 62,000 EUR. Hockenheim Lap Times: AC Schnitzer EAGLE : 1:13,3 min. Ferrari California: 1:13,5 min. In regards to the vented panel.....take a look at your wheel liner. Doesn't it go all the way to the fender?

Given the times listed on Trackpedia for the Short Course I'd venture to say that was one used. Hockenheimring Short Track - Trackpedia
Its called the " Short Circuit " which is the one they use for the annual Tuner Challenge event. randy
Thanks twice Nathan. I was racking my old brain to try and remember the trackpedia site and for clearing up my confusion.....
They are most likely Craft Square mirrors. The mirrors them selves are rather in expensive but the mounts are what cost . Here is a set for the Lotus for reference Craftsquare CF Side Mirrors
Yeah, you've entered the realm of GT/Tuner class race cars. I'd love to whoop on that for a trackday. :ihih:
