    Hey all,
    Quick question for everyone?

Can a swap be done for the 6-speed manual and taking out the Aisin 6-speed auto? If so can anyone point me to a thread that may have already been written

It's going to be cheaper to sell the car and buy one with a Getrag.

    By a LOT!

    Remember...
Tranny's are so integrated.... You need computer parts reprogrammed too..sell the car... Even if it needs to be fixed...and buy a 6 speed...

I believe Way at Way Motor Works has done this before. I know it wasn't inexpensive. There were some programming issues that took a bit to sorted out I think. I may be wrong. I'd contact Way.

Why would you want to do that? The Aisin six speed is a better transmission.

Things have been so busy. Taken me a while to get back to this. I do love my Auto but I miss the fun driving a manual. Aisin is a headache and a half as well. Had the tranny replaced about 15k ago, luckily my extended warranty covered it.
