Anyone with an ACT clutch want to share their expierence?

I know a few people have them and i hear they do not rattle and offer good driveability.

    Thanks,
    Jonathan

I have the ACT flywheel, but at the time that I bought mine, the pressure plate and disk were not avail.
Nonetheless, I can give you my opinion on that.

The flywheel is a really good piece. I recommend it to replace a worn out dual mass unit.
They are 2lbs heavier than their aluminum counterparts. ~13.5lbs (i think)
Solid steel - no replaceable inserts.

Engine revs are much quicker and engagement is much, much better. (read, better feel)

You mentioned the rattle/chatter... mine did it right off.
However, I have replaced other cars' flywheels with this one, and they didn't.
I think it depends on your trans., cosmic alignment, etc.

And i'll add that I have installed numerous ACT disk and PP combos and have never had a complaint.

I've had mine in for two years with no problems.
The flywheel while it doesn't have a replace able insert it can be resurfaced. So it is reusable. Mine doesn't chatter I used redline lightweight shockproof oil in the trans.

    I would recommend it.
