I was talking to a few others about this last night. Do any of the aftermarket rear control arms allow the owner to add a little more negative camber? Are they threaded long enough to safely lengthen them for a little more camber? I know the majority use them to shorten the arms so I thought the threads might not be long enough.
While I haven't tested this on a 2nd gen... and I haven't done an engineering analysis... you're talking about relatively small amounts of lengthening/shortening to adjust camber - on my H-sports, I get about +/- 1 degree for every half-to-three-quarters turn of the turnbuckle... I'm confident I have PLENTY of threaded length to work with to go several degrees in either direction with at least as much strength as the OEM arms (and probably much more).
Haha, no. No lowering. Just toying around with camber for the whole fitment/stance thing and some may need more camber than stock. That's what I suspected, but I wasn't sure. Thanks
