Wheels MINI 1st Gen Any Interest in Blank 5 Spoke Wheel Caps

    Hey guys! I really like my 5 spoke wheels (as pictured), but I am not so great a fan of the Mini Cooper center caps. I am going to design and manufacture a set for my car and try and paint match the grey. Would there be any interest if I were to make more than one set?

    I've always thought that black wheels disappear on a car. Your picture is proof of my theory. o_O

    A picture of the MINI Cooper center caps you want to get rid of as well as a price would be of great help!

    My apologies! Completely blanked on adding the picture the first time. Long couple of days. This is the rim that I have, and I had planned on deleting some of the contours of the cap such as I stated. My guess is once I get them started I could do $40-$50, as they will all just come out of one design/one mold, and comparatively this would be cheaper than replacing the OEM caps ($13-$25 on eBay),

    So basically, you are going to flatten out some of the ridges and remove the little "hole" pattern? You have any designs or mock ups?

    Not currently. I was pretty slammed the past week and haven't had the chance to, but I think I'm going to end up filling it with Bondo/debadging the center and calling it a day for a personal set haha.
