I want to try to do something with the "abominable snowman warning light" but it goes so quick that I can't seem to get a picture in focus. Searching has come up empty. Anybody here have a picture of it?

Wish I could help you out, I have only seen it a few times. Living just north of the Florida line.

There might be an icon in your owner's manual

I tried when you first posted - it was actually snowing, and I fired it up, had my iPhone at the ready and the stupid light never came on... now it's in the 50-60's so it'll be about 6-8 months before I have another chance...

It's been cold lately but the two times since I posted this question, I forgot to have my camera or even my phone ready for the pic. It is on for an amazingly short time when you want to get a photo... :prrr:

Does anybody remember what it looks like well enough to say if this is a reasonable approximation?

Yeah. As far as I can remember it is a triangle with a snowflake in it. Just like all the other symbols. It's cold today, but it was supposed to snow so I left my MINI in the garage and It didn't snow :mad5:.

Excellent picture, that's about as good as I expect it would ever come out. I see the difference between the icon and the image I found - there's an open circle in the icon. I kinda like the dash icon better...
