The R8 cabrio V10 will sticker for $161k, and Audi just announced that the RS5 will come to US shores with a 4.2l V8 delivering 450 hp. Matt
Meh. It's still an Audi. Their service sucks. Their warranty sucks. They treat their customers like crap.
I've driven a couple R8s... the V8 auto, and the V10 manual. Both are unbelievable drives. Jerry is soured by a bad A6 experience, if I remember correctly. Matt
It only takes one. And even though I am thinking of a new car at this time, even if I had $160k I can think of better options.
Sorry but coming from the VW/Audi world your statement rings with pure ignorance. Do not judge all the cars, the dealers etc because of your bad experience. The MINI world has its share of bad experiences, heck I've had more stupid little problems with my Cooper S than with my 10 year old ridiculously modified VW. But I still love them both.
Pure ignorance? Pretty strong words. You probably meant to say that you don't agree and your personal experience has been different. My experience was negative all the way from the local dealer to the corporate big shot VP siting in his glass tower. From then on I choose to spend my automotive dollars elsewhere.
I went in to buy an S5 and ended up next door instead. The RS5 would have been harder to turn down, but, knowing what VAG is asking for it, I would have been hard-pressed NOT to buy an E63. Not the same category I know, but, scrilla is scrilla
