    Actor Peter Falk.... I liked that show he was in. Didn't he drive a beat up old gray or beige Renault convertible?

    Correction.....
    Peugeot Grande Luxe Cabriolet 403.... 1959 or 1960

    I can remember watching the show a lot with my grand father. Columbo's sled was a Peugoet 403; that model was designed by Pininfarina. Cool car, cool show, cool era.

    Two of my favorite actors of all time

    Not only Colombo but Matt Dillon is also gone. My three favorite actors are Matt, Peter and James Garner. Two are gone and only James is left but we don't see him making anything new.

    It is really sad when a good guy from the old days when shows were really successful because of the stars that made them great. These guys can never be replaced.

    :(

    Matt Dillon is alive and well.

    James Arness who portrayed Marshal Matt Dillon on "Gunsmoke" has passed on.

    Sorry Nathan

    James Arness that played Matt Dillon died last month ( June 3rd.) at the age of 84. He was a great person. I met him in Old Tucson Arizona when He and the rest of the crew were making a movie. He was always my favorite actor and I'm going to miss going on his web site and seeing pictures and write-ups of what he has been doing lately.

    Here is an obituary:
    [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Arness]James Arness - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]

    With all of his great career he was just a very good plain ole guy. During his breaks he showed me around the set and introduced me to Amanda Blake, Melbourne Stone and everyone we came across. It was a highlight of my whole life. I was on a cross country Harley Davidson Motorcycle trip and was invited by a guy that worked in Old Tucson. I was not allowed to take any pictures but I did have autographed photo's of everybody. My old girlfriend stole them a long time ago.(Along with a lot of other valuables)
