Just returned from this years MOTD, 12 hrs of windshild time. Yuck. But the event was great had a great time again, Did see one Sportbike vs MINI and neither one faired very well, thankfully no one was seriously hurt. The vender area at Fontana Village was a very busy place
We just back as well... Although only 9hours for us+ a very crabby/crying baby most of the trip. She has had enough of staring at that headrest for a few days I'd say! That being said, she did a great job at 'slaying the dragon' (from the backseat) at 10wks old! Great event once again all who put so much effort into it! Thank you!
GHreat drive back to the Buckeye State....did someone get hit in the windshield with a donut on I-75 somewhere in Kentucky :arf:
Left at 6:30 this morning, got home to Charlotte by 10am. Had a few spots to run over 130mph on the way home. Good thing I slowed down after that, there were cops everywheeeeere. Had a GREAT time... saw some great cars, met some new people and can’t wait till next year. Mark
Made it back to NE Ohio also. Had a great time and already booked room for next year. Had about 9hr drive then out of MINI and onto John Deere, yard looked like a hayfield! Didn't take long to mow 5 acres but it has a really twisty design to it this time
We got home late this afternoon. Had a great time and spent WAY too much money, but don't regret a thing . Here's a pic of Mozart and Wulfric with their new graphics-
Just for the record, I didn’t see you (probably stood right next to you and wouldn’t have known it..lol) but I absolutely loved both of them. I love the green on the countryman but absolutely think your clubman is one of the best looking clubmans out there. Mark
Agree on the Countryman. I watched them put the graphics on. Nice color combo! Good chatting with y'all at the car wash station.
Was good to finally meet you Mark. The MINI looks as good as I expected it to! Would have been cool to get a pic of yours and Tyler's MINI's together. The orange pearl and Yellow pearl would have looked cool side by side.
Dale, I am SO SORRY we didn’t get to spend some time together. I looked for you all weekend and can’t believe we didn’t cross paths again. I really wanted to sit down and talk. When you saw me, I hadn’t been there for a few minutes and I was in a rush to get my room because unless I could verify I was suppose to be in there, they wouldn’t keep the room I had on hold for more than an hour. Hopefully we’ll see each other before next years MOTD. Mark
Got back lat night, but did not have the energy to type, All the driving, drinking, meeting people, drinking and spending money on my MINI completely wore me out. I can now put faces to many names here and made a bunch of new friends. This was one great MOTD. Jim
