    Interesting... I thought that the ring was actually a German public road. Yes, it is a separate ring road with no exits / entrances other than the pit area, but because construction was financed by the government, that it was technically a highway with a numerical designator.

    I could understand owning the pits and the mall/offices/carnival that was built, but wouldn't buying the track be like having a company come in and buy I-635 around Dallas?

    I still have a wish to buy a car on European delivery and drive the ring... that 2015 Audi TT looks pretty sweet!

    Maybe. I have never liked Bernie, He seems like a money grabber. But I watched a documentary called "1" it changed my opinion of him a little.
