My darling wife parked too close to a curb and gouged the rim edge. Black paint came off. Rim is fine. What color touch up paint will work to correct this little injury:mad2:

Gloss or Flat to match your black.

Yep, black is black and white is white. All others are a toss up.

I think that Black would be a good choice.

    wheel rim issue

Thanks all. I guess my issue is WHICH black. The auto stores have a myriad of choices; universal, metallic, etc.

Not having seen your wheels it is hard to say. I would think either gloss or flat black, but can't say for sure. Post up a picture, as Lotsie suggested. He is the guru here. :D

that's why you don't let the wife drive. I got mine a new FX35....the one with cameras all around so you can see a "bird's eye" view as you park. She still curbed a wheel.

I'd suggest some sort of gloss black. There's probably 100 shades of black, and you're unlikely to get an exact match, however any close approximation will still look better than the curb-rash

Ignore all these other yahoos. I prefer black. It's the only way to fly with black wheels. Accept no substitutes.

I'll have you know the hubby took out 2 of my wheels in 2 different sets! One he curb- rashed, the other he didn't lie down and it fell over after taking it off in the garage :mad2:
    So ha!
