I have all chrome sprayed finally. I think it looks really good. I had the plasti dip spray on and i just wasn't a fan so i begged a buddy that works for a body shop to hook me up(so he did at his personal shop). It has turned out really great. We are about to spray all of the side lights black and it will be completed. Then i need wheels bad...!!!!!! I think i found the wheels i want, the wheels that come on the Cooper S. I think they are R90 or something like that. Unfortunately, i cant afford them just yet or cant find them for what i have haha.....

    Looks great. Well done.

I think the rims you are referring to are the R90s. Keep in mind they are HEAVY, like most other stock rims. You'll notice a difference compared to those little ones...

Nice job. I think the wheels you mean are the ones on RDNZL. I just recently saw a set somewhere going fairly cheap with tires.

I split mine and had them powdercoated and them reasemble with new hardware.

    Cheers

Well that sucks about the wheels i really like the style wheel. I defiantly cannot have a heavy wheel. I need something light. Crap!!! Thanks for the info tho....

your rims would look great matte/flat black, why not just do it your self?

I did my S-lights in 5(ish) hours. Washed sanded, prepped, cleaned again and then on to paint a primer.

Your wheels look great!!!! I almost purchase the S lights and i found out they were very heavy and i decided against it. I like my wheels okay, but i would like 17's for sure....
That was the process we did for all the chrome we painted a lot of sanding. Even wet sanded and buffed my headlights.
