They use the same engine for the BMW and the MINI, but they dumb the MINI engine down because BMW is more and MINI is less... Apple Car play will be dumbed down because BMW is more and MINI is less... So basically BMW will get hi def stereo and MINI will get mono.... And it will only be through the left speaker..... Unless it's a Brit MINI.... Then it will be the right speaker... MINI disconnected......
