Hello, my gf has a 2013 Cooper S and she wants a boost gauge, I was wondering what you guys recommend? I was looking for one that runs off the OBD2 if possible. Thank you
I run Rev on a old iPhone 3S. You can chose what gauges you want to display. Also dash command is another good one. I made a holder that puts the phone next to the tach. I was going to post a picture but my car has so much ice on it I can't get in to it. If you want a normal gauge I can't help but someone els will be along that can.
There's the areoforce OBD2 gauge. Aeroforce Technology Inc | Products - Interceptor Mini Order The Cravenspeed nGauge. nGauge MINI Complete Gauge Kit Scangauge II. ScanGaugeII : Linear Logic - Home of the ScanGauge
You could buy just the Marshal boost gauge, along with a tap to the intake manifold, from Cravenspeed. Still, it would cost as much as a ScangaugeII. SCX Pro Gauges by Marshall Instruments Dave
If you do not want to install an actual boost gauge (which is the cheapest) there are some other ways: Next cheapest in line is get the Torque App (android) or DashCommand (iDevice) and either a Bluetooth OBDII reader (android) or WiFi (iDevice) ~40$ Next in line would be one of the electronic setups: this will vary from about 200 ^ I personally like the PLX Devices setup: PLX Devices The DM-100 look like a normal guage but is a touch screen and you can add real modules if you would like of just use the OBDII
The Marshall gauges that match the MINI are these: MINI Cooper Gauges In case that is what you are looking for. The SCX are similar but do not have the same font and color that the MINI version does.
Although it is not an official product, so I may have to set a different price in the future, I have done a few single boost nGauge for $300. That includes everything you need to get it mounted up cleanly too.
