Hello am new to this site,
    I recently bought a 2009 Mini Cooper
But I been hearing the breaks when I do
A stop or I'm about to drive again after I
Been in a stop sign ect.
I took it to couple of places and all the mechanic
Said that the breaks look really
Good , and is coming to hear them???

    Is this really true)???
    Thanks

Perhaps you've got a lot of surface rust on the rotors and what you hear is the rust being worn off. Did the car sit awhile before you got it? Common to hear them, ah no.

Welcome to M/A the FUN Mini site.

Sounds like rush on rotors to me. Where are you located? Maybe we can advise you of another service location to have you brakes checked again.

A more clear description of the noise would help. Rust on rotors is usually a morning thing & goes away after a few stops.

    Is the noise continuous?

Only when the brakes are applied?

    Is it a clank sound?

    Welcome to M/A
