Is anyone else getting a 'Brazil' (tourist?) pop-up when first accessing MA, or is it just me? I had a pop-up exception set for MA to allow private messages to display, but it's not worth it if I have to put up with junk.
I've not seen that before. I don't use any advertising that create pop-overs or pop-unders. I hate those things and pass on that easy money as I don't want to annoy y'all or myself.
I'm not getting it either. I am getting annoyed with the Ap prompt at the top of the screen every time I log on.
He may mean Taptalk. If I haven't signed in I get it too, but only once. Or it may be if I've cleared my cookies.
Here it is a tap talk banner on Android.... The mystery of the pop-up/pop under might be an app if on android...some sleezey apps have begun to place adds in windows that pop up as notifications (get free wallpapers , ringtones, scan now-you are infected..., etc), rather than just on the app when used....makes me much more careful what I install....one trick... Some companies are buying apps from developers... Then updating then to push adds....
Tapatalk does show an ad if you are not registered and logged in. Much like the site shows a fair amount more advertising if not registered and logged in. The site displays even less advertising if a supporting member and logged in.
