FYI, according to Speed, the Formula 1 Debrief (2012 Wrapup) that's on tonight may not be re-aired. They're warning it's not scheduled for any re-airings. Technically that doesn't mean they won't schedule it for some time in the coming months but I suppose there may be a reason they're making the point. So, anyone interested, make sure you have the DVR set for this one...just in case.
The F1 Debrief was really good. It wasn't the usual post-race debrief, nor was it a post-2012 debrief given the end of the season. It was an end of F1 on Speed debrief with the usual 3 plus Buxton and Sam Posey. Good stuff.
I thought the F1 debrief was pretty cool also, sad that it has come to an end on speed. I'm gonna miss David Hobbs on the F1 broadcasts. That guy is a riot. I don't understand why speed doesn't show Porsche Supercup, WTTC, BTTC, DTM, FIA GT during the regular season. Instead we get stuck with reruns from MTV's pimp my ride, my ride rules, hard parts south bronx, pinks, monster trucks, ect. Not to mention the over coverage of every Nascar truck, nationwide or cup practice session.
I'm glad the team is moving to NBC & remaining largely intact. I know Bob is not going, but I'm wondering if Sam Posey is going too. Anyone know the answer?
I think Sam is going to retire, he does have Parkinson's. Sam Posey: Parkinson's Was Like Being `Ambushed'
Yes I knew that. He looks like it is giving him a rough time of it. I really enjoyed his pre-race commentaries.
