Saw a Countryman on this site and was wondering if it's real. Appears there is a plug on the passenger side for electric charging. The shape also looks a bit weird for a Countryman. It's definitely Euro or non-US. Is this a prototype MINI never released or just some 3D rendering from someone with a active imagination?

    I'm going with a rendering.

As much as BMW likes to announce to the world that they are working on electric and hybrid versions of their line, including MINI, we'd of seen some sort of press release. Also, not a single other site that I've seen, and I look at a lot of automotive based sites, has has anything about a plug in version of the Countryman.

:cornut: I just got back from a run to the store and saw a new Mercedes that looked a lot like the pictured vehicle in question. It's odd how many different brands of SUV look like the Countryman.
