Great stuff Terry can't wait to get the OEM spoiler delete kit. The GP style spoiler is so sick looking. Will be sending pics of the car finished up. -Adam
Thanks Adam! You should receive it around wednesday or thursday! Looking forward to your photos! and door handles are available now! let me know if you still want it
The pics on the Fubrication website give me a headache. They're all so dark, and with a near-black product, it's impossible to get a good idea of how it all looks... Do you have any photos of the spoiler on an R56 from a little closer up, and minus the Photoshop vignette effects? Also, it's a little off-putting to have to scroll down two screenfuls past the HUGE logos - on every page - to get to the actual product listings...
hi r56turbo, I apologize for the bad photo quality and terrible web design skill we have here. Please provide your email address, I'll send you clear pictures. Terry
Please accept this as a positive comment and not intended to be condisending, but if you have clear photos why don't you post them here or on your website? Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
From what I understand he is a Med student and doing this on the side, I imagine there is not alot of time to for webpage design, I am sure as this side business makes some capital he will spring on having professional web page design done. In the mean time it seems to be getting the job done. Motor on Terry !!
CHKMINI: Thanks for the advise! I'll post them here very soon. AliceCooper: Thank you Adam! Yeah I got 2 more years to go. Local MINI club people know that and appreciate what I'm doing here so yeah, I'll keep improving and bring a better website! Have you received the deletion kit spoiler?
Hey Terry. Good to see you up and going with your prouct. I'm getting good use out of the rims I bought from you. They are awesome track rims. Let me know if you start making functional (i.e. measurable downforce on a race track) spoilers and front splitters for the R56. I might be interested.
Metalman: good call lol! how about carbon fiber vertebrae? Brian: I'm glad you love the rims! which track do you usually go to? i remember you mentioned about it last time but i already forget. I've been working on my lotus and now it's track ready! hit me up! Regarding to your question about GP spoiler downforce. I believe the one I make can create more downforce than the OEM GP spoiler since the center piece is adjustable. The first photo is taken on a R53, the 2nd one is on a R56. Notice angle difference. lastly, front lip is still in the testing stage. I'll call you up when it's ready.
These pictures help. But I still don't completely understand the way these parts fit the car - is the stock spoiler in there or is it replaced by your parts? Is that what the "deletion" is, a replacement for the stock spoiler?
The spoiler is bolted on your hatch door. The first photo shows my deletion kit. the 2nd one is actually just a OEM non-s spoiler from MINI. so yeah the deletion kit is a direct replacement that bolts on to the original 2 holes drilled on top

Have you received the deletion kit spoiler?[/QUOTE] Got the delete kit installed, wanted to get some of the CF goodies from you for the Dragon but just can't swing the funds at the moment, will catch up with you on that stuff later. Will be getting some pics of the complete spoiler installed soon and will send them to you. :cornut:
A quick explanation: these are not side diffusers. By themselves they have no aerodynamic function. They are no more than "runningboards". If they had "curtains", if you will, hangind down or directed air away from the rear wheel well opening then they would have a purpose. I say this, not to piss anyone off, but to help you out Mark
