2nd Gen R56 Cooper S Cold air from the scoop

I've heard good things about it. I actually have an Brand New AEM one for sale in the classified section. I'm selling for $275 + shipping. Think about it and pm me with any questions.

 

How much of a difference does this make? Is there a ram-air effect at speed?

 

A very simple explanation is that air is pushed into the engine by moving the vehicle forward. However, at sub-sonic speeds the effect is negligible.

Nathan's explanation is spot on. I have the DDM intake, but I rarely run my Justa sub sonic, so I can't speak for how it works on an "S".

Truth be told........ You ALWAYS run your Justa sub sonic.

Some of the big hills in Pa help to get Justa Jim near sub sonic..... There is no tell-tail sonic boom.... Just a little hair muss with the windows down... And of course, the cows are a little more blurry....

 

sub < trans < super < hyper ....

 

I'll have you know, we leave a path of destruction behind us from our sonic boom MM. Foggie is not your average Justa.

We're talking about the speed of "sound" MM, not the speed of "Sight".
