Edit NF - Yet another rumor has it.... It’s seemingly getting more and more official. According to Autosport BMW and Prodrive will be reaching a solution to their dispute over finances next week. At that time the Prodrive’s contract to build John Cooper Works WRCs will be terminated. (visit MotoringFile for the full article) More...
Not exactly "confirmed" though, wait until Monday for that... For anyone who hasn't already seen it, here's a thread with the rest of the story...or, that is, as much as I've been able to find.
Pick a new team or driver/co-driver & cheer them on. I love rallying & if MINI is not there it makes no difference to me. Rally Ho!!! :biggrin5:
I know that Crash and I will. What really gets me is that BMW fed us a line of crap and they knew it was from the start. Had they been up front with that, then OK, but they were not and that really makes me mad. I'm not as forgiving as you are, but I have been told that before. It has gotten me knee deep in alligators many times, but that is just me. :beer Jim
Maybe VW, but Citroen were & still are kicking butt. I hope to see VW do well when they bring their new rally car out. Too bad about MINI. Oh well....
I'm asking this in a nice way Crash, but you don't really seem to mind if MINI drops out of WRC, which surprises me. Why is that? Jim
