    Hi,
Can anybody explain the procedure on a standard R50 115HP Cooper for removing the the cylinder head , changing the head gasket and re-installing the head? Including any specialist tools that is required to do this job?
Also whats the time frame for this job?

    Thanks,

I think the head removal is pretty straightforward and no special tools are needed. The Bentley manual will help a lot with all the various torque values. Frankly, it's a very good investment if you are going to work on the MINI.
