Build-up is underway for the 2014 Dakar, 5-18 Jan. Looks like they've thought hard about the the route this year, should be interesting. The bike and quad 2-day marathon stages are an entertaining idea.

It looks like NBC Sports will have a half hour show on the Dakar starting on 1-6 at 5:00 pm and all the following days to the end of the rally. The half hour is not much but better than nothing.
