With my new ride, I’m looking to get some guages and ways to see and log data. I was looking at different “Dash Command” options. Are there any you have used/prefer? I have both iPhone and Android so OS preference is pretty wide open.

I just sold my Scangauge and went with the android app OBD Fusion. So far love it. Very easy to customize. I had an older no contract 5.something inch phone for the display with the Cravenspeed magnet mount.

I’ll have to look into that. Had a buddy who has a Dashcommand WiFi ODB unit I used last night. It was pretty cool. I’ll need to see what the difference is between the OBD Fusion and Dash Command.

Only difference is the way the gauge's are displayed. I like the simple analog looks .You can actually set sax, min values and even color code different ranges on them . Like on my coolant temp display, I have a green colored range for when it's properly warmed up and then a red range for when it's over 210 .
And the displays themselves are highly customizable. Even down to how the bezels are shown, the size of the ticks, position of the range. All of these changes are done in real time. So you can see the changes made as you adjust the sliders/numbers

This app works on iOS as well, I’ve got it paired with a a wifi ODB reader. The only complaint I have is that the ODB reader can be knocked out of position by my big ol’ feet sometimes, which is a pain.

Thats interesting - hadn’t really searched Amazon yet. Seems like prices there are a bit cheaper.

@MCS02 - On P3 gauges website they have a low profile splitter and extender. Its $30.00. But that would allow you to move both out of the way.

I’m still doing some research on this... and the water/methenal mixture.
