Me either, my Dad spent close to five years in Europe during/after the war. If it were not for all those guys we wouldn't be sitting here now banging on these keyboards.

There was a local memorial celebration here in the Columbus area. All the local news shows did have coverage. More than just a passing story too, they went in depth.
