    It's should work for an R53 also and the parts are only $13.00 + shipping.

    I don't have a buttons on my key that pops the hatch. I am just a lowly 2002 very early one at that. One of the first sold in Memphis. I don't think I can do it. But it is cool!

    Cool. I just ordered a couple of the springs. Shipping and tax cost as much as the parts.

    Dave, it doesn't work on 05-06 that button only unlocks.....ask me how I know....

    This mod wouldn't be good for everybody. My remote is programmed to unlock doors and the rear all at once (my preference).

    Well that sucks, oh well. I am not buying a 2nd Gen to get a hatch pop and Carbon. :lol::lol::lol:
