I bought a template for a site I'm building and need a crash course in editing it. Can you help? Please....
My area of smarts. Do you have the Adobe suite? If so what version and how do you want the crash course? Remote session? I wouldn't think it would be necessary to have a meeting in the Kansas!
Have Adobe Web Premium CS5, love that academic discount. Best would probably be a remote session and phone combo.
If hughes crash course isn't enough, or you want to learn more, I heartily recommend lynda.com. They have hours of videos covering just about any software application. For $37.50 a month you can watch all the videos you have time for, plus download the same files the instructors use so you can follow along. I've been using it for the past 6 weeks or so and am now a credible user of both InDesign and Illustrator (check me out at cmk1000.wordpress.com if you want proof!). If you go to their site and go to Flash or Dreamweaver sections there will likely be a few videos available to watch for free so you can see what they offer (Adobe's site might have some posted in their support section, too). It's an amazing service for less than the cost of one instructional book. I checked and the essential training section for Flash Pro runs 7 hours and Dreamweaver is 15 hours. If you follow along with the exercises it might take twice that long to go through, but you'll have learned a ton during that time. Take it from someone who has always relied on trial and error to learn software before, it's well worth your time.
