    I remember these cars being called in '67/69 an Alfetta, possibly a USA model name only. Alfa did not import any models to the USA in 1970.

    Same brakes and running gear just as my '69 GTV just at lower price and two more doors. Who else, in the late sixties, offered an aluminum block, mechanical fuel injection engine, 5 speed transmission, and 4 wheel disc brakes for under $3,800?

    The odd thing about this era of Giulia was that, I think more or less by mistake, Alfa hit on a very low drag body shape so this car had a faster top end than its boxiness would suggest. I've seen Cd figures as low as 0.32 quoted, though Cd numbers do tend to be as reliable as asking men is their equipment is big....
