So as requested I will upload at some points some fotos of other projects, I hope you will enjoy it !!
As I told you the last months I am designing some Ducati parts. To be honest I am not very familiar with motorcycles and especially Ducati but so far I enjoy it a lot  This project started for fun with a friend of mine and it ended up as a full time project! Because we have access to design, 3d scans, 3d prints, fabrication, composite materials etc etc we ended up actually thinking of keeping only the engine the same... and create our own motorcycle (optimistic I know). First step... I 3d scanned the engine, frame, swing arm and some small detailsthat you will see later ...
The scanned engine gave me some very good reference points ;) I dont have any nice photo, this is inside the shop where I rent the scanner. Nothing grazy to see here I just upload it so you can have an idea of the process.

Below is the scanned model, in the early stage of aligning the mesh .

At some point I might do a complete reverse model to the engine but now i really dont have time so I just use some reference points.

Then the frame was scanned .....

And I ended up design the whole body... But we wanted something different... a complete monocoque body (fuel tank, seat, tail) ....
After many many revision (6 months in total and 7 version ! ) the main body was finished and I started with the molds, underside etc.

I will stop it here because ... firstly I have to go :D:D:confused: and secondly I want to know if you like it so far and if you would like to see more !!!
Have an amazing night or day !! ( here is 8 pm ) !

Next part to scan was the swing arm of the suspension. Why we scanned that ? We wanted a tube frame style suspension arm. Keeping all the OEM suspension points-axis but complete redesign. As for material we ordered AISI 4130 Steel or just chromoly for many. All the pipe cuts (only on straight pipes) will be done in a CNC laser cut machine and the for the rest I will print 2D flat models lay them on the pipe and cut according the pipe. I will saw you more later (it sounds complicate now) .
Below is the scanned file of the OEM unit:
view 4.PNG I finished the design of the tube frame style swing arm :) So here you can have a look !
This is the new model over the scanned file: Untitled.png
And the model as it is, with some minor changes I did today:
View 5.png minor changes will happen but that's the general idea. In the next days I will do a stress an analysis just to be sure everything is ok. The plan is to start fabricating it in the next couple of weeks as soon as everything is verified.

And a small billet piece that was finished 2 weeks ago:
