Hiya, I’ve been reading all posts and comments regarding r56 cooper s dump valve faults, I’m currently experiencing this issue and I’m wondering if I buy an aftermarket replacement will this simply fix the issue?
Are you talking about the turbocharger by-pass valve? Could you list the faults that you mentioned? To get the most accurate information, please include the year and model of your car in your signature.

Make sure you get all the pieces out before installing the new part.
I’ve got one of these in my 08 MCS. Easy install, assuming the old one hasn’t disintegrated and filled the turbo with plastic bits. Also, it loses less boost than the OEM one. But yes, details help, and welcome!
