Hiya, I’ve been reading all posts and comments regarding r56 cooper s dump valve faults, I’m currently experiencing this issue and I’m wondering if I buy an aftermarket replacement will this simply fix the issue?

Are you talking about the turbocharger by-pass valve? Could you list the faults that you mentioned?

I’ve got one of these in my 08 MCS. Easy install, assuming the old one hasn’t disintegrated and filled the turbo with plastic bits. Also, it loses less boost than the OEM one.

But yes, details help, and welcome! :)
