I'm glad I got to visit again before this happened. No way to know how long it will be before some things at the bottom of the hill near the river will be completely back to normal but I read the Phoenix was already open for business again last night.

At least we were parked on high ground, but Norm, Nathan and I would never have gotten through that intersection by the restaurant. Gnat would have been taking water through the louvers. :nonod:

@ Jim, That’s all right I know a way-out of town from where we were parked. My friends with the shop that was flooded by hurricane Agnes, they used to live up on that hill side.
We should have taken a drive down river road to the old paper recycling mill by the iron railroad bridge and back, short scenic often flooded old road.

Glad to know you knew an alternate way out Norm. I'll remember to call you if I ever decide to visit there again during a flood. :D

The Phoenix will rise again from the mud and silt of the river, it has before.

Then we should plan a gathering to mark the occasion. When are you and Sal coming back to town Nathan?
