Mahle Motorsport has bearings for the 1st gen engines. My rebuild used them instead of MINI sourced bearings.

They come both standard and oversized.

They were from elsewhere. Cost was built into what I payed for a MINI sourced reman Crank. The seller obtained the Crank from a dealer that was friendly enough to credit back the OEM bearings supplied with a new reman crank and the seller subbed in the Mahle ones.

There are OEM alternatives. This is sorta sticky cause well..Jan helped me out here and we all know there ain't exactly a lotta love :D

1320 Knows about the Mahle ones too..they have built cars with them. Might want to check with them for part #'s and then give your local Mahle distributor a call. Mahle also has pdf's of their catalogs on line.

I'd offer up the part numbers but I never saw them. My vendor shipped direct to my engine builder. I got to write the check. :cryin:
