Just a reminder about Eric's Riverun. For the past few years we've had a good turn out of MINIs & other assorted sports cars. Hope you can make it this year too. Here is a PDF of the flyer with all the info....
Oh ahh wee.... Color me there, is payment collected the day of the event or do I need to do something in advance.
Payment is made the day of the event when you check in. Please send Susan an e mail to say you are coming. We try to keep a handle on how many routes we need to print up & have on hand. You will love these roads Nathan.
GASP! I'm actually off that day this year. Seeing as it's my miata-driving bro's bday, might see if he has plans... Will let you know if we can make it.
I am there, this is one of my favorite days of the year. A nice long day of driving sightseeing and hanging out with friends, what could be better?
It would be nice to get a count of who is going to do this from MOM. Last year we ran in a group of six cars (5 MINIs and 1 MG, if I remember right) and it seemed pretty easy to stay together. If we have a lot of MOM members going, we should try and keep in groups of 5-6 (which would mean that we all couldn't rely on following Chuck and Babs around all day:smilewinkgrin. I might try and round up a co-driver, so I have someone to call out turns.
...but Jason where have you been :confused5::confused5::confused5: First we have Air Traffic Controllers falling asleep and now the keeper of the O-Fish-Oil MoM Calendar has obviously joined them
Here are some pictures from the layout drives taken by my co-conspirator Bill. Riverrun 2011 Layout - WAtterbury's Photos
Those roads and buildings look very familar Warm cashews are the order of the day at Tom's for Metalman and me. Looks like a great introduction to Ohio twistys for Nathan (I'm sure he'll have his hands in cashews too) Thanks for the preview Chuck...are we leaving yet?
Deja-voe all over again. You guys took part in a grand experiment last November. Bill & I said if you survived the trip we'd use some of those roads. Heck you guys only got lost a couple of times & one of those was following me. Blast off is coming soon Mark.... :cornut:
Who is going to do this next weekend (5/28)? I am so ready for an all day drive! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hey Jim come on over & join us for some fun. :cornut: I plan on driving the NOT N MG this time, weather permitting.
I would love too, but alas I can not get away right now. It really looks like a good time. Jim BTW: I read both of the plaques about the Shenandoah. I did not know about that and found in interesting.
If you think about it those guys were the Challenger pilots of their day. It was a huge deal when she went down. It's still sad after all these years.
