Agree with Dave.......plus.....couldn't even imagine how much they want for this.....knowing how much a buddy of mine spent on one for his R53 :eek6:
That looks almost like another step in the wrong direction. Why can nobody make anything simple that actually fits with the style of the car? Get rid of all the holes and the chopped up look... Go to something smooth, and curvy.
Why did they need to mess with perfection???? Because the new team of designers had to make a change with the 3rd gen.... And they changed wrong....
Still too big of a lip, that just looks stupid. Just make a normal bumper for God sake and not an ugly JDM "Fast and Furious" bumper for a Honda Civic or a Mitsu Eclipse. :mad2: That lower part looks like it should be on an old Toyota Supra.
Each to their own - the lips / large splitters are not solely a JDM thing these days anyway. Look at all the Audi, Merc and BMW bumpers now on their M / AMG / RS cars
Audi, BMW M cars and AMG and RS cars are not MINI's. You don't want MINI lumped in as Japanese poser cars do you? It's time to let the Fast and Furious stuff die like Paul Walker already. Let it go like Disco.
No, as you say, they are not MINI's However my point still stands that their bumper designs are very similar to the offering from DuelL - with enlarged brake ducts and large splitters being par for the course now. I'm just disagreeing with your opinion that this style of bumper is solely JDM.
I dont think the lip would look that bad, if not for that stupid raised center section... The openings on the sides are screaming ricer crap to me more than anything! Why make a gigantic fake vent, when there is nowhere to push that air? Because RICECAR, thats why!
They should have been in business in the '90s... JDM fans dont even use non OEM parts, or at least re-pops. Only people who do the whole fiberglass body garbage these days, re the ones who think plywood = wing, and stick on holes from VatoZone are tasteful mods...
More vents make you go faster. Just ask my but dyno! Dave.0 and ModFather you two need to get your mind right.
It looks better than the OEM bumper. If it was toned down a bit in the lower section it would help. I'm diggin' the stripes on the top on the fenders though....what if... Hmmm
The stripes on top of the fenders are louvers... Same hood as the silver Clubman at the Dragon that had the carbon hood.
They look like Transformers and they are way to busy looking on the bottom. They should try again like MINI.
