1,928 MINIs (Cooper and Cooper S 2-Door Hardtops) manufactured between January 6, 2014 and October 17, 2014 are being recalled because during a service appointment, service technicians may have inadvertently reprogrammed the transmission control unit with a bit of software that would allow a driver to exit the car while it is not in park. Oh don't please don't get me started. How idiot proof do we need to make a car. So I hate to sound stupid but does it lock you in unless your in park? Well I would hate to have a wreck and Cristen deside she doesn't want to let me out!
Soon standard transmition car will be outlawed.

Oh I forgot about a stuck gas peddle. I guess turning off the key is to hard or the several other ways to Handel the problem.
We even got a check for that from Toyota. And we never had a problem.

    Ok I'm done.

    Chuck...
Let's bring back the good old days when we used to set the points with a feeler gauge and gasoline wars were fought with girls pumping gas wearing hot pants and tube tops...

This was an option most new MINI oweners wanted so the could jump out of the car when it's moving so they would not be see driving that ugly thing.
