The best or most common way to modify fenders..... go. I really want to pull the back ones and do something custom as to I don't see much to do with minis unless I'm missing something?

There are some after market wide fenders out there but they aren't cheap, as in $850 for a set. +- some.. Is that what your talking about? What did you have in mind to do custom?? Full stroker motor, some kind of aero kit replacing the bumpers and side skirts, custom rear wing, color matched or a contrasting color fender trim, lower it some or a lot, plenty of custom stuff to do...

You can't "pull" the rear ones at all. The front can be removed.

You talking actual quarter panels or just the wheel arches? Theres actually quite a few things you can do, just need a direction and a some green stuff. You have something in mind?

I kind of wanted to pull the panels.. I plasti dip my car so primer spots don't show so I have an advantage if paint cracks from heating it (if I were to roll or pull) I probably won't do anything with them.. sounds like a hassle. I've seen the wide body fender kits and I don't like them that much :/

As mentioned above the rear ones don't come, pull off. A good bodyman would be needed to remove a "1/4 panel sized" section and to replace it. I guess if you have the cash anything is possible.
