I'm an old, fat, retired mechanic who never considered a Mini because I thought I'd never fit in one. A friend of mine came over to the house last Saturday with a 2010 convertible "S", paddle shifter and said lets go for a ride and your driving. Well, my new found friends, I swallowed the hook, line and sinker on that test drive. I haven't had so much fun in 15 minutes of driving since I drove my first motorcycle in 1965. I pick up my Pure Silver "S", R53, paddle shifter tomorrow and can hardly wait.
