I'm guessing Rally America has much looser rules than you have to live with Chris. It is nice to see MINI's in competition & winning. Keep plugging along Chris you'll be there too.
Can't wait for next year will be adding more goodies to the car I am supplying custom axles as the stockers are failing
I've been in contact with the owner for some time. It was quite interesting that the builder of the Mini (not the owner ) used to email for advice. LOL like I knew what I was doing! The spec of this mini has been changing as things broke along the way. Hotbits was the first suspesion choice which soon broke after some of those big jumps. Now the set up reiger suspension which still needs regular rebuilds. Box is a 6 speed with a quaife low final drive gear set which also need the odd rebuild. The coolest part (as Jan says) is the engine. Around 200BHP NA which is very nice. Now after all that development this Mini is getting the results it deserves. Unfortunately none of the above is allowed in CR.....like I could a afford it..LOL
