So for the second time this year I have experienced a CC-ID 029 code right after a fill up. The last time it happened I determined it was the grocery gas that I had used since it cleared up on my next tank once I switched to Shell 93.

I have been using it ever since, but the symptom returned today. I guess it is possible that the Shell 93 I bought yesterday has some crud in it, so if that is the case, what additive can I add to my full tank of fuel to help clean out this problem?

That seems to point to insufficient in-tank fuel pressure. Check gas cap, maybe?

Jeff, is this the same issue that you had at the Dragon?

Jeff you need to flog that MINI harder. Pouring a bottle of Chevron Techron in the tank will do no harm & could help. That's all I've got???
