Hey guys when i first got my mini i replaced the first oxygen sensor with a universal one from oriellys. It was a bosch sensor. Now my question is it alright to use the universal sensor? I saw people say that its not and others that it is. But my car hesitates when i drive it and i am only getting about 16-18mpg city and about 26 hwy. I have an 02 mcs.

I used Bosch sensors in my MINI. Kept throwing codes so I replaced with NTN sensors & all is well. No experience with universal ones.

I keep getting a code for sensor voltage being out of wack. And engine running lean.
