Well, here is a fun run in NE Georgia.

We started in Sugar Hill, which is where we live.

Head up to a great old mill and pottery place called Mark of the Potter. It is a cool place, although a bit on the expensive side, compared to the old days. Very cool to visit, tho, with stunning river views, and some killer trout in the river to feed.

Then from there, back track a mile or two and hit Serendipity Stained Glass. Also, not what it once was, but nice if you are into that kind of thing. The owner is a nice old guy who likes to chat and show off his trade.

From there, head over to two beautiful lakes (Lake Burton and Lake Rabun) and the fun little twisty bits that go around them. VERY nice roads to motor on. Very narrow, very twisty, and very reminiscent of England. Hedges and walls right up to the edges of the roads. Stunning, really.

Once you come out onto the the highway, you can head north a bit to find a very unique and cool place called Goats on the Roof. I would try to explain it, but it is much better to just let it surprise you like it did me. :cornut:

Then you can head back the way you came, head back into the hills for more, or head home down the highway. It will take the better part of a day to run it all, with stops.

Here are a couple of shots of the ride... This was in December, so trees are bare.
