    Hiya,
so far i have been using the suction cup on my over the gas gauge part of my chrono pack.
It stays there most of the time unless the road is really bumpy and then it flies off.
What aftermarket garmin mount are you using?
    Where does it mount to?
    Why is it the best?
    Where did you get it?
    How much did it cost?
Pics would be awesome, or if you list a website i can see the mount there....
    P.S. I'm using a NUVI 250 wide.
    thanks in advance.

I have the Kuda mount. It goes betwen the speedo and the AC vent and looks like it is OEM as it matches the dash. Do search for Kuda Mounts. I love mine.

I got the Craven one. Same location as the Kuda by the sounds of it

Well designed and well built, no plastic, would recommend.

Have all sorts of pic's on the Craven website. Think he calls it the 'Flexi-Pod' system

Same here.....Craven for the win. Love the fact that it mounts to the back of the tach/speedo and is very secure. You can position it either to the right or left side of the gauges. I have even mounted my Scangauge to be above my tach on the same mount.

Pics when I get home tonight. Been meaning to write up a review for it.

I thought the Kuda one was on the dash, not attached to the tach.

I think he is saying the GPS ends up in the same position - about 1 or 2 o'clock outside the wheel. Just different ways to get to that result.

I thought it was centered on the speedo, like this.

Had my Kuda mount now for 2 years, and LOVE it... Center position so the wife can navagate if she wants to. Looks "factory" leather to match the dash... Really sturdy. wouldn't do my Garmin any other way.:Thumbsup:

I have the Kuda in two of our Coopers. I would have three but my wife doesn't want a GPS. :frown2:

The Kuda is really nice... It's in a good location for both you and your sidekick... It is also in a good location if you are getting a Scan Guage II. I have both. The Scan Guage is by the driver side A pillar, which makes it easy to read. I can take a photo and post it if you are courious...

+1 for the Kuda. Had mine for about three years now, and love the stability. The mount never moved when I was rear-ended, though the Garmin did get jarred off of the ball mount. There are a few up here in the Upper Left Corner of the US that use the Kuda.
