I have a pair of MOMO RS GT2 seats in my MINI as seen below.

Over the years the bolsters are wearing thin so I was thinking it was time to get them redone this winter.

Contacted MOMO US about getting new material. Their reply.

Contacted MOMO Italy, they said to get in touch with the US Importer., Umm....I already did that!

Checked locally as to cost to have them recovered. I could buy new seats for the money being asked. Three places, all with great reputations all said they would have make pattern and sew each panel. They all kept saying "custom work". Each time they said that all I kept seeing were more dollar signs.

I like these seats. They are comfy. They fit me. I really don't want new seats.

    Arrghhh...

What I did on the rally car was have vinyl put on the bolsters so they'd hold up. Not a full reupholster & wasn't much money. Is the rest of the seat in decent shape?

Can't you just get some of the panels replaced by the upholstery shops instead of the whole seat?
