Since 1974 GM has used the Goodwrench brand to promote dealership repair and maintenance services. That's all going away as the new GM is dropping that brand name in the US. Goodwrench will be replaced by Chevrolet Certified Service, Cadillac Certified Service, Buick Certified Service and GMC Certified Service. GM;s Marketing Chief, Joel Ewanick, wants the vehicle brand names to the focus, not the corporate entity.

Sources go on to say that the Goodwrench brand name will be retained in Canada where the name continues to have cachet.

It may be gone from the marketplace but it will never be gone as part of the legend of the #3 car.:(
