Portland, OR - CravenSpeed has recently released the only part available that will allow installation of oil pressure gauges on second generation Minis. The Tapless Adapter for the new generation works in a very similar manner to the popular selling item for the R53 of the same name. By installing the adapter between the sender and the manifold, access to oil pressure and temp is granted through a 1/8 NPT thread on the unit. The part is precision machined from hi-grade steel to ensure no leaks and plated for complete corrosion resistance. Simply remove the OEM oil pressure sensor, install the Tapless Adapter in its place, and re-install the factory sensor into the Tapless Adapter. Install your gauge sender directly to the Tapless Adapter and go! This installation is reversible as there is no drilling or tapping required. Installation instructions are included, though if your threshold for DIY frustration is low, it's better to have a mechanic do it.
