I have the hsport black competition sway bar with 3 way adjustability. I'd like to sell it for 200+shipping or possibly trade it for a 19mm bar. I want an adjustable 19mm. I paid about 240 for it new + shipping and it's in great shape. I'll include the bushings and brackets as well which have been lubricated every other month. Bushings are in great shape as well! They have zirk fittings so it's easy to lube on the car!

Why your decision to go from a 25mm hollow bar to a 19mm solid bar?

If he has camber plates on the front, the 25mm bar may be too much. I know it would be for my cars setup. Different stokes as they say. I can't say mine is bigger than yours.

There's not a lot of difference between a 25mm hollow and a 19mm solid. Not questioning the decision just wanting to know why.

The 25 hollowed is essentially a 22. Least that's what hotchkis says.

A pic of my H-sport 25mm bar. As for me, I love the beefy look and performance of the bigger, hollow bar. YMMV.

Interesting springs. Who makes those & what are those plastic pieces on the top few coils? Bump-stops of some sort?

They look like H-sports, Brillstein's or maybe MN's and the covering helps keeps the quite when they rust or rub together.

I cannot really tell from how the coil is wound, maybe someone else can.
I have Swifts and they are wound the same way but are linear.

A progressive spring can usually be recognized by the space between every winding or spring coil of the spring being different. It will go to small on one end to large on the other.

Based on how the coil is wound, those appear to be progressive rate springs.

Dave O. - Yours have the same winding and yet are linear? Interesting.

How do you like the progressive springs? Wondering how the soft to harder rate transition is.

Yup, but then again mine are Swift Springs for coil overs if that matters.

Then again after a second look mine are more even wound coils and not as compressed at ends when my car is on a lift. Duh :mad2:

I jacked it up at Lunch to look.

Point of Order - ***The OP is trying to sell his H-Sport 25mm Rear Sway Bar or trade for an adjustable 19mm.***

There, now I can reply with less hijacking guilt...

    ------

I've had them on for less than a month, but so far the Alphas seem to ride wonderfully and the stance is now perfect for my taste and use. Of course, I simultaneously ditched the OEM run-craps for some nice, one-size-up Michelin PS A/S3s and I'm sure that has a ton to do with the improved ride. :ihih:

    Oh yeah,

Someone please buy or trade a 19mm bar for his 25mm H-Sport comp bar from the OP since it is a great mod for any MINI.

That best describe us, Kind and Considerate. Many have tried to enumerate our best qualities, having so many, but have failed. You on the other hand have done a good job of describing some of our better qualities.
But I like to think one of our best, if not the best, is humility.:lol::lol:
