It’s President’s Day. You know what that means. Furniture is on sale. It's for all presidents not just the current one. Remember if you don't ike the current president you always have the option of moving out of the country until the next parties lobbiest backed liar takes office. George W Bush was a complete idiot but I still respected the title of President. Just saying respect the position even if you do not respect the person in the postiton.
Umm...my post was tongue in cheek. I'll stick to celebrating the great ones individually, thank you very much. But go ahead and knock yourself out. You might want to check out origins of the holiday, it technically isn't for all Presidents (although you could argue it has been bastardized) just one in particular. His name is George, but last name isn't Bush. Your sentiment may apply to the military, but not to Presidents day. But you go ahead and celebrate the likes of Warren G. Harding if it makes you feel better.
I gotta get out of this thread before Minimark joins in and between Dave, he and I WWWIII breaks out....
This one has been making the email rounds: "I was eating breakfast with my 10-year-old Granddaughter and I asked her, What day is tomorrow?" Without skipping a beat she said, "It's Presidents Day!" She's smart, so I asked her "What does Presidents Day mean?" I was waiting for something about Obama, Bush, or Clinton, etc. She replied, "Presidents Day is when the President steps out of the White House, and if he sees his shadow, we have another year of Bullsht." You know, it hurts when hot coffee spurts out your nose.
